Compliance Dilemmas: How Nordic Multinationals Cope with a Complex Compliance Environment in China
The first publicly available research report by the China Office of Finnish Industries explores how Nordic multinational companies operating in the People’s Republic of China manage difficult questions involving compliance with several legal regimes at once. The study highlights ways in which the environment has grown more complex in recent years, in part due to geopolitical tensions. We explore how companies have experienced these compliance dilemmas, as well as ways they use to navigate complex situations. The study also contains recommendations for the worlds of business and government.
