In November, the China Office invited special guest Ms Bonnie Glaser, a Managing Director of the German Marshall Fund Indo-Pacific program in Washington DC, to brief the shareholder members about Washington’s view on the Taiwan issue.

Ms Bonnie Glaser is the Managing Director of the German Marshall Fund Indo-Pacific program and is considered by many as the Taiwan specialist in the United States. From 2003 to 2021, she was with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC, including as senior adviser for Asia and the director of the China Power Project.
